Since we moved into our house, I knew I wanted to keep the pink sink and toilet. Everyone said to get rid of them since they were old, but that wasn’t an option for me. Vintage pink bathrooms are a rare breed and I really wanted to have fun in the guest bathroom. And so I ventured toward creating a Golden Girls inspired bathroom.
I decided on a Beverly Hills inspired bathroom and was so close to buying the Martinique wallpaper, but after talking to our awesome wallpaper installer, I decided against it. Basically, he’s installed it a bunch and recommended not to get it! He said it’s expensive and super fussy. I did order some samples and felt the colors were a little too dark for the bathroom. That’s when I found this Cole & Son Frond wallpaper and knew it was the perfect balance of Golden Girls meets modern luxe.

The original tile flooring was a mixed pink square tile, which had to come out since the tile wasn’t set properly. We opted for a white matt hexagon tile which was inexpensive but added enough pattern to keep the space interesting. We also updated the original faucet with the Kohler purist collection which really updates the sink.
So what do you think?
