We are less than 2 months away from the arrival of Baby Loomis and I’m finally tackling the nursery design! I think my family and friends have more angst about not knowing the baby’s gender than Alan and I do. They keep asking, “How will you decorate the nursery?” Obviously a gender neutral nursery comes to mind, but not the traditional one with neutral tones. Alan and I both agreed we want the nursery to be a happy, whimsical, and fun room that puts a smile on everyone’s face when they see it. We want the space to be comfortable and an extension of our styles, but definitely morph to take on the baby’s personality when he/she is born. I think people assume that a gender neutral nursery equals boring, beige, and white, but I’m here to tell you that is far from the truth! I’ll be mixing new with vintage, of course, to get a unique space for Baby Loomis. Stay tuned for the reveal.
