The Shopping List No. 28: Cardi Casual
After I shared this outfit, I was inundated with requests for cardigans that fit this casual chic vibe and I’m here for it! While St John tends to skew more refined and mature, I love pairing my St John pieces with vintage Levi’s for a more casual feel. I regularly borrow Alan’s vintage Dior cardigan (I thrifted for $8!) to layer over dresses and skirts. Since fall is around the corner, I figured it’s time for you all to stock your closet with a proper vintage cardigan so you sip your apple cider in style.
When shopping for vintage cardigans, be sure to check the men’s category since Dior, YSL, and Ralph Lauren made a men’s cardigan as opposed to women’s. With that said, be sure to check the sizing and measurements since some sellers don’t know this and will label it women’s when it’s actually a men’s piece. Either way, it doesn’t matter how it’s labeled since these cardigans are just so good for styling!
