The Shopping List No. 31: Fringe Benefits

Please tell me I’m not the only one who was obsessed with Sloan’s outfit from Ferris Bueller‘s Day Off? Her fringe jacket, the Mom shorts (well, technically those were trendy shorts at the time), the boots – the entire outfit is a vibe that I have loved for 30+ years. While everyone needs a classic leather jacket, I feel like fringe has always been in style and it’s not a trendy item that you’ll get sick of. I can’t remember the last time I said “I’m not that into fringe today” – what about you? This shopping list is dedicated to fringe jackets that I think you will love. Whether you’re looking for a classic leather fringe jacket or you’re feeling a little extra, I’ve got some great embellished options in there too. I’m really excited that the price point on a lot of these is under $100 which is pretty amazing for leather and suede. You can definitely find fringe jackets at the thrift store. Depending on what area you’re in, expect to pay anywhere from $15-$30 at the thrift store and double that at flea markets.
