The Shopping List No. 33: Vintage Designer Bags

The holidays seem like the perfect time to splurge on yourself, if you ask me. I’m always saving for a special purchase and I like to spend that on a unique, vintage bag. I only buy vintage and second hand designer bags – ALWAYS – because even Chanel goes on sale! It is widely known that vintage bags are better quality than new bags. This is especially the case with Chanel. For starters, bags before 2008 were usually hand stitched (versus machine now), metal details were dipped in 24k gold (new bags are just colored metal), and the leather is more supple and craftsmanship of the shape is simply better.
