The Shopping List No. 46: Designer Sweatshirts

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of sweatshirts. I love them with jeans and paired with a skirt –  it’s kind of my thing! Since my collection is ever growing, I’ve been eyeing some vintage designer ones from Yves Saint Laurent and Ralph Lauren. Since mentioning them in the last round up, the price of them has skyrocketed! I was originally eyeing ones in the $30-$50 range and now they are up to $300 – insane in the membrane. I know it’s not because of the season, so I guess the secret is out.

Since prices of the YSL sweatshirts have gone up, I have added some other favorites from Saks and Dior. While I don’t recommend dropping $300 on a sweatshirt, it’s good to keep these styles in mind because it’s totally possible to find these thrifting. I have found a ton of great vintage Dior sweaters, cardigans and tracksuits for Alan at thrift stores. I’m definitely wearing them more than he is, but they are still out there!

When shopping for these sweatshirts, it’s important to lean into the ugly Dad sweatshirt vibes. It’s just so much better that way!
