What to Wear to the Flea Market

I know the feeling – you’re headed to the flea market and you’re not sure what to wear. You want to look cute, but also practical since it’s cold in the mornings and then blazing hot in the afternoon. Also, the lack of fitting rooms makes it a bit tricky to try on clothes in public. Thankfully for you, I’m the flea market queen and I have 3 outfits for you that will make your next market trip stylish and easy breezy.

What to Wear to the Flea Market

Unitard. This is the probably the best piece you can wear since you can easily throw on anything over it to try on. I’ve pulled on jeans, dresses, blazers, tees, slips, you name it over my unitard. To dress it up a bit, I add a belt and shacket to keep me cozy if it’s cold.

Slip dress. Trust me on this one. When it’s super hot out, you want something easy to wear that’ll keep you cool. With a slip dress you can pull up pants and skirts under the dress and blazers and tops over the dress. It’s versatile and works. I like to have a crossbody bag to keep my hands free for shopping.

Jeans and a tee. There’s a reason why basics are popular, they just work. I wear jeans and a tee when I’m on the hunt for decor and furniture and won’t be shopping for clothes too much. I throw on sneakers, oversized blazer, and hat and I’m done!
