A Green Living Room Refresh

When life adds a tiny human to the mix, you know it’s time for a decor upgrade! We’ve been wanting to update our living room for a bit and it seems like life with a newborn was just the time to do it. If you follow on Instagram, then you know our blue sofa has made its way on a new Netflix show so we were due for a seating upgrade. We’ve never owned a sectional (tbh I thought it was the minivans of sofas) until I saw the Holt Sectional from Joybird and she is sexy! We needed more room for Friday movie nights, something pretty for my bougie design aesthetic, and something that can survive two kids and a dog – this checks off everything on the list and more!

As you know, I like to do a bit of decor hot potato on a regular basis and this vintage rug has moved around a bit. Once I moved the Wendy Morrison into Violet’s nursery, I brought this one from the dining room. I think it grounds the living room much better and the colors just work beautifully in here.
